So 7 things about myself...
1. My husband means everything to me, he is my world!
2. I love Christmas, I mean adore out of control love Christmas!
3. All I ever wanted for my life was to get married, have a beautiful family, and stay at home and be an awesome mom.
4. I love sleeping in, and I do almost ever day :) I know you're all jealous ;)
5. There are 8 kids in my family
6. My grandmother taught me how to sew and quilt, some of my most loved items are quilts she helped me make or gave to me at important times in my life (one when I turned 12, one we made together, one when I graduated high school and one when I got married.)
7. When I was little (alright like 13) I used to pretend to be Marianne and Eleanor from Sense and Sensibility and take walks with a blanket wrapped around my shoulders like a shawl. I was one silly girl!
Alright! Now I would like to pass this award onto...
I adore the above blogs, I mean they are just gorgeous, so inspiring and the women who write them are equally wonderful!

it seems that you & i are going to have some very creative times together nearer to christmas as i too, am TOTALLY obsessed with christmas...i have made us a autumn {fall} wreath for our front door till i can pull it apart and make it into a proper christmas wreath again!!
look after those treasured quilts...one day your babies will be grown up and bring their kids home to sleep under the quilts their grandmother {you} made with their great grandmother...how incredible is that gorgeous thought!

ReplyDeleteI absolutely turn into a Chrstmas elf, come November. Well, half way through October if I'm honest!! I'm getting ready to put up lots of gorgeous Christmas craftiness on Modern Country Style. Please tell me it's not too early!?!
I love the images you've put up. They ARE messy, aren't they?! But they're quite contrived messiness. Messy but neat all at once. How do they do that!!?
Anwway, I've finished my essay now.....I'm not sure why I've rambled on quite so much! Blame the Christmas elfiness in me!
